Congratulations to all the student, staff, parents and our community for being a shining star in the Gadsden Independent School District. We here at Mesquite Elementary are proud of all the hard work our students did to ensure that we achieved this accomplishment. They prove that with respect and dignity along with guidance from teachers anything is possible. I know that we have the best students, they display this every day by showing respect and dignity in all that they do. Once again we are proud of the tremendous growth our students have made. The results for the PARCC are in and our students rose to the challenge. Because of the hard work and dedication of the Mesquite students and staff, our school is in the top ten for the state for growth in both Language Arts and Mathematics. This accomplishment belongs to our entire community. Without the dedication of students and staff, the encouragement of the community and support of families it would not have been possible. I want to thank every member of the Mesquite community for your continued investment in the future of our students.
